Young Entrepreneurs
Young Entrepreneurs joins students of different cultures, e.g. Arabs and Jews, native Israelis and Ethiopian immigrants, students of the special and general education tracks – in workshops in which they develop skills that they can apply both in business and social settings, e.g. program plans, budgets, assessment tools and social skills. These workshops, which are facilitated by experts in entrepreneurship and successful staff of business and NGOs, guide the students in identifying and addressing common social challenges. They join in contributing to the community, e.g. working with the elderly or cleaning a public park. In doing so, they learn to contribute to the community and focus on their similarities, seeing each other as equal members of society. It also provides the “minority group” with opportunities to actively contribute to the community rather than always receiving from it.
