WE LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE BEAUTY OF DIFFERENCE

Kaleidoscope achieves its goals by fostering the development of social skills such as empathy and through interactive activities that in which students of different cultures – Ethiopian and native Israeli, religious and secular, Arab and Jewish and students of the special and general education tracks – learn about each other and develop a positive association with being together.

Kaleidoscope brings expertise in the field of multiculturalism and democracy, experience with many populations and interpersonal skills that include the openness to collaborate and to learn from others, a combination that has allowed Kaleidoscope to affect real change here in Akko and in other Israeli locales.

Orit Asyag

It is very important for me to bring together students of the yeshiva with students of different backgrounds, and Kaleidoscope creates a good and stable infrastructure for these meetings, in addition to joint thinking, with flexibility and adaptation to the needs we raise.
